2016 was a very good year for the Kuehne + Nagel Group. The company’s customer-oriented strategy once again proved effective in a demanding market environment marked by different dynamics. All business units and all regional organisations have contributed to a new record result with earnings of CHF 720 million. On behalf of the Management Board I would like to express our gratitude for this great achievement to all employees worldwide.

With KN FreightNet, the digital quoting, booking and tracking platform, Kuehne + Nagel set a new industry standard as early as 2014. The global Kuehne + Nagel index, gKNi, which is based on big data and predictive analytics, is a unique nowcasting tool opening up an entirely new customer base for Kuehne + Nagel. At the same time, supply chain processes can be predicted much earlier, more precisely and plans calibrated more efficiently.
